    A local edit, as the seam receives it.

    The entity's identity: a store key, or — for an existing entity — the server identity the map shows. It is resolved to the key before anything is read (resolveEntity).

    What the edit brings. It is merged over the stored entity (mergeEdit): its properties override the stored ones key by key, and an absent geometry keeps the stored one — a partial entity never erases what it does not carry.

    baseVersion?: VersionMarker | null

    Marker the edit is based on, forwarded to the push to make the conflict detectable.
